Whats old is new again!

Jaminga has the great retro items created during our humble beginnings!

 

In 2004, we opened our first store, in the Alberta Arts District in Portland, Oregon. Our name was Wild Child PDX. Next, came our website. We sold only handmade and fair-trade baby clothes, bedding, diaper bags, and accessories.
 

The store grew and so did we, literally. In 2007, our own little Punk Rock Baby was born. Time for change! We went online full-time, with a new look, and a new name.

What’s with the name? Well, we wanted something different, new, fun, and totally unique. What a challenge!
 

We couldn’t agree on anything. One day, while brainstorming in the yard, our eldest daughter was playing with her imaginary friend, Jaminga. Whoa! Just the name we were searching for, right there in front of us!

 

Jaminga, the store, was born.
 

Known around the world for our amazing products and service, Jaminga's eclectic collection of Punk Rock Baby gifts and beautiful OOAK gifts made it to Baby Showers from the US, to AU, and hundreds of places in between.

 

Times move along. Children grow up. Markets change a lot. More access lead to oversaturation. We continued to sell baby gifts online. We added new items, made new connections. Life and business was great. 

 

Then…came a little thing called Covid.
 

At first, things seemed to flow normally. Then, as with so many other small businesses, one after the other of our talented designers had Covid hit their lives in one way or another. Other opportunities arose, so we carefully packed up our amazing inventory for "later".

 

Later has (almost) arrived!

 

Here, on Jaminga Destash, we're letting it all go. So many cool OOAK and things that aren't available anywhere else. 
 

We look forward to sharing our unique offerings, though a little bittersweet. It will be hard to say goodbye to some of our faves, but thinking about little ones getting to show them off, we are delighted to offer them to you.

 

Everything in our store is brand new, but has been neatly placed in bins, in our pet-free, smoke-free, storage room for some time.
